The Rochester school board has tabled a proposal to open an alternative city high school. The decision came moments ago, at the school board's monthly meeting. Several people spoke against the proposal prior to the decision to table the vote.
The school would have extended hours and students would go to school all year.
The decision is on hold until at least mid March.
